Every second I breathed the sky removed a shade of indigo from its twilight's interlude. The sun murdered the sky with each yellow and violet assault, seizing the canvas for its luscious color show. The banner of blue thrived in the jeweled sun's glare and carried the perfume of the valley's fruit. My eyes drank from the pools of color, intoxicated by the intensity. I now wish I had kissed the stars before their descent that morning…
